Description

AST Lowering Springs for the 2013+ BMW i3 are manufactured from a premium high tensile chromium-silicone wire which is handpicked by AST engineers for its quality and metal consistency.

Each spring is cold wound and then heat treated to increase hardness and reduce internal stresses present after winding. Each spring is then individually shot peened, phosphate treated and then powder coated to outlast even the life of the vehicle.

Factory ride with custom look
These springs are perfect for a daily driver used for commuting! I drive around 70mi/day, but wanted to lower my i3 from mini-van height to a respectable sedan height. It worked perfectly and I have a great ride, without the jarring ride of other springs, but with the 1 inch drop I was looking for. The car handles better in Cross wind conditions, feels WAY more planted, and just plain looks cool. I would have given 5 stars, but shipping took 2.5 months. I highly recommend and they’re worth the wait!
