How Install Partnerships Work

Most SPRINGRATES® customers buy their suspension from us and have it shipped directly to their installer — saving a trip, eliminating storage, and getting installed faster. Here's the typical flow:

  1. Find your installer using the map above and confirm availability with their shop
  2. Order your suspension from SPRINGRATES®, with the installer's address as the ship-to
  3. Schedule your install for when the parts arrive (most BR Series kits ship within 1 business day)
  4. Drive in, get installed, get aligned — typically a half-day to full-day job depending on the platform

Pricing varies by installer and vehicle. Most coilover installations run $400-$800 plus a performance alignment. Always confirm pricing with your installer in advance.

FAQs

Can I install coilovers myself?

With the right tools, mechanical experience, and a way to get the car aligned afterward — yes. Many enthusiasts install their own coilovers. If you're not comfortable disassembling a strut, working with springs under tension, or setting ride height, a professional install is the right call.

How long does a coilover install take?

Most coilover installations take 4-6 hours of shop time, plus an alignment. Air suspension installations take longer — typically a full day or two depending on the system.

Do I need an alignment after installing suspension?

Always. Lowering or modifying suspension changes the suspension geometry, and without a proper alignment you'll wear tires unevenly and the car will handle poorly. Budget for an alignment with every suspension install.

Can I ship my suspension directly to my installer?

Yes, and we recommend it. Use your installer's shop address as the ship-to during checkout. Most customers schedule their install for the week the parts are expected to arrive.

What if my installer has a technical question during install?

Your installer can contact our team directly. We're suspension specialists and we work with installers regularly. However, we also always recommend contacting the manufacturer as nobody knows their products better.

What if there's a problem after install?

All suspension we sell carries a manufacturer warranty. If you have an issue post-install, contact us and we'll work with you and the manufacturer to resolve it.

Will my installer honor SPRINGRATES®'s warranty or pricing?

Our pricing and warranty are between you and SPRINGRATES®. Installation labor is a separate transaction between you and your installer. We make introductions and standardize where we can, but each shop sets its own pricing.
